Sunday School Director
Sister Tiffany Jackson is the Sunday School Director at Mercy Church. She has taught Sunday School for over seven years. She is currently attending college and will have her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary education in the Spring of 2014. Sister Tiffany is currently a substitute teacher for the Port Huron Area school district and really has a passion for children and growing them in God’s word.
Sign Team Director
Sister Liz Kelly has been involved in ministerial performing arts for six years. She has been ministering throughout the district and has led the Mercy Church Sign team through sectional conferences. She has a great passion for music and thoroughly enjoys teaching and performing worship to God. Many people have been touched by this type of worship as she continues to lead the Mercy Church Sign Team to higher levels of worship. She is also well educated and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration.
Worship Leader
Sister Violet Velez has been involved in using music to minister to people for several years. She has a passion for music and is sensitive to God’s leading while praise singing. Her musical experience includes being a part of mass choirs, recording, performing solos, and heading up the worship team at Mercy Church. She is also very involved in her children’s musical education and encourages musical theory to enhance their worship. Sister Velez and her children are often invited to take part in ministering song at district events and churches.
